Warranty and after care services
Peace of Mind With Every Powerchair
When you purchase one of our electric wheelchairs, you’re not just buying a product — you’re gaining reliable support and genuine peace of mind.
Every powerchair comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, starting from the day your order arrives. This warranty covers manufacturing faults that arise during normal use, ensuring your chair remains safe, reliable, and ready for everyday life.
We understand how important mobility is. That’s why our warranty process is designed to be simple, fast, and stress-free.
If You Need Warranty Support
If you experience an issue, just contact our support team with:
-
Your order number
-
A short description of the issue
-
Clear photos or a short video
This allows us to quickly understand the problem and offer the right solution without delays.
What You Can Expect From Our Support Process
1. Remote Assistance First
One of our team members will guide you through simple checks by phone or video call. Many issues can be diagnosed and solved without needing to send the chair anywhere.
2. If the Issue Is Simple to Fix
If a replacement part is required, we’ll send it free of charge, along with easy step-by-step written or video instructions.
3. If the Chair Needs a Repair
If a repair is required, we’ll arrange collection and return of your chair and complete the repair as quickly as possible. Once fixed, your chair will be returned ready to use again.
If the issue is caused by accidental damage or misuse, we’ll always provide a clear repair quote before any work is done. You stay in full control of how you wish to proceed.
4. If the Issue Needs Further Diagnosis
For unusual or unclear faults, we may arrange a diagnostic inspection. A small refundable deposit may apply, which is fully returned if a manufacturing fault is confirmed.
What The Warranty Covers
Your 12-month warranty covers manufacturing faults arising from normal use, including:
-
Electrical components such as motors, controllers, wiring and joystick systems
-
Structural components such as the frame and support mechanisms
-
Parts and labour required for approved warranty repairs
If a fault is covered, you pay nothing for parts or labour.
Items Not Covered (Normal Wear and Tear)
Some parts naturally wear over time. These are not covered by warranty:
-
Tyres and wheels
-
Seat and armrest padding
-
Straps and fasteners
-
Cosmetic scuffs or paint wear
-
Rubber joystick grips
Batteries are covered for manufacturing faults. However, gradual reduction in battery capacity over time is normal and not considered a defect.
Simple Maintenance Requirements
To keep your powerchair performing safely, we recommend basic checks every few months:
-
Ensure bolts and fasteners are secure
-
Visually inspect the frame for damage
-
Check tyres and wheels for wear
If you’re unsure how to perform these checks, our team is always happy to guide you.
Damage caused by long-term use with loose bolts or missing fasteners may not be covered under warranty.
What Isn’t Covered
The warranty does not cover:
-
Accidental damage or impact
-
Misuse or driving on unsuitable terrain
-
Exceeding weight limits
-
Water damage
-
Incorrect storage or lack of maintenance
-
Repairs or modifications by unauthorised parties
-
Normal cosmetic wear
If a repair is not covered, we’ll always provide a clear quote before proceeding.
